Urban Theology : A Reader

Author(s)

This is a reader containing 48 key texts by British and North American theologians, sociologists, psychologists, ministers and others. In it, the spotlight is on the deprivation, and also the extremes of wealth and poverty, powerlessness and power that are to be found in cities all over the world today. It is designed as a study book for at least three groups of people: those working in urban priority areas as community workers, teachers, members of congregations or clergy; those living in more comfortable areas who want to understand more; and clergy in training, whether they plan to work in the city or not.
